Description

End-Time Events in Their Biblical Order is a comprehensive, rightly divided KJV Bible study chart presenting the prophetic sequence from the present Church Age through the Rapture, Judgment Seat of Christ, marriage of the Lamb, Daniel’s seventieth week, Great Tribulation, Second Coming, millennial Kingdom, Satan’s final rebellion, Great White Throne, and the new heaven, new earth, and New Jerusalem.

Built around John 14:1–3, 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18, 1 Corinthians 15:51–52, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelation 19:7–9, Daniel 9:24–27, Matthew 24:15–31, Revelation 6–19, Revelation 19:11–16, Revelation 20:1–15, and Revelation 21–22, this chart organizes the major end-time events into a clear prophetic order without confusing the Church with Israel, the Rapture with the Second Coming, Christian reward with final condemnation, or the Tribulation with the present dispensation of grace.

Bible prophecy becomes confused when related events are compressed into one moment, separated from their audiences, or removed from the order supplied by Scripture. The Rapture, Tribulation, Second Coming, Millennium, Great White Throne, and eternal state all belong to God’s unfolding plan, but they are not interchangeable names for the same event. Each possesses its own participants, purpose, timing, setting, movement, judgment, promise, and outcome.

The chart begins with the present Church Age, the mystery dispensation in which the gospel of the grace of God is preached and the Body of Christ is being formed. Ephesians 3 explains that the one Body composed of believing Jews and Gentiles was a mystery hidden in earlier ages and revealed especially through the apostle Paul. First Corinthians 12:13 teaches that believers are baptized by one Spirit into one Body, while Romans 11 maintains the distinction between the present Gentile fullness and Israel’s future national restoration.

The Church is not a continuation of Israel under another name. It is not spiritual Jerusalem, a replacement nation, or the final stage of Daniel’s seventy weeks. The Church possesses a heavenly calling, spiritual blessings in heavenly places, a heavenly citizenship, and a blessed hope centred upon being caught up to meet Jesus Christ in the air.

During this present age, sinners are saved by grace through faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Salvation is not earned through works, law-keeping, water baptism, sacraments, church membership, endurance through Tribulation judgments, or personal religious merit. Christ finished the redemptive work, and the sinner receives eternal life by believing on Him.

The next event in the chart is the Rapture or catching away of the Body of Christ. First Thessalonians 4:16–17 states that the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God. The dead in Christ will rise first, living believers will be caught up together with them in the clouds, and the entire Church will meet the Lord in the air.

First Corinthians 15:51–52 identifies the transformation of living believers as a mystery. Not every believer will experience physical death, but every member of Christ’s Body included in the event will be changed. Corruption will put on incorruption, mortality will put on immortality, and believers will receive glorified bodies fashioned like the glorious body of Jesus Christ.

The Rapture is the Church’s blessed hope, not the opening of God’s wrath upon the earth. Titus 2:13 directs believers to look for “that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” John 14:3 records Christ’s promise, “I will come again, and receive you unto myself.”

At the Rapture, Christ comes for His saints, and the saints rise to meet Him in the air. This must be distinguished from the later Second Coming, when Jesus Christ returns with His saints to the earth in judgment and glory. One event removes the Church before prophetic wrath; the other brings the King to overthrow His enemies after the Tribulation.

The chart places the Judgment Seat of Christ after the catching away. Second Corinthians 5:10 declares that every believer must appear before Christ’s judgment seat to receive according to what was done in the body. Romans 14 also teaches that each believer will give account of himself to God.

The Judgment Seat is not the Great White Throne, purgatory, a second payment for sin, or a trial determining whether a saved believer may enter heaven. The believer’s eternal standing has already been settled through the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ. Romans 8:1 declares that there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

The Judgment Seat concerns Christian service, motive, stewardship, faithfulness, obedience, and reward. First Corinthians 3 compares enduring work to gold, silver, and precious stones, while worthless work is pictured as wood, hay, and stubble. The fire tests every man’s work “of what sort it is.”

A believer whose work remains will receive reward. A believer whose work is burned will suffer loss, “but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” Loss of reward is serious, but it is not loss of salvation. This distinction preserves both eternal security and Christian accountability.

The timeline next presents the marriage of the Lamb. Revelation 19 announces that the marriage of the Lamb has come and that His wife has made herself ready. The Church, already caught away and examined for service, is presented in heavenly union and celebration with Jesus Christ.

The marriage should not be confused with the Rapture itself. The catching away brings the Church to Christ; the marriage presents the heavenly relationship and celebration following that gathering. Neither should the marriage be confused with Israel’s earthly restoration or the judgment of the nations at the Second Coming.

The next major event is the beginning of Daniel’s seventieth week, the future seven-year period connected with Israel, Jerusalem, the coming prince, and the Tribulation. Daniel 9:24 states that the seventy weeks were determined upon Daniel’s people and holy city. Daniel’s people are Israel, and the holy city is Jerusalem.

The Church was not revealed in Daniel’s seventy-week prophecy. The present dispensation occupies the mystery interval between the fulfilled sixty-nine weeks and the still-future seventieth week. After the Church is caught away, Israel’s prophetic clock resumes.

Daniel 9:27 teaches that the coming prince will confirm a covenant with many for one week. This one week equals seven years and begins the final prophetic period. The ruler connected with the covenant is the coming Antichrist, not Jesus Christ.

The covenant appears to provide political stability, religious freedom, national security, or a temporary resolution to conflict surrounding Israel. Yet the ruler who confirms the covenant later breaks it. His peace is deceptive, his promises are temporary, and his final purpose is rebellion against God.

The chart separates the first half of the Tribulation from its intensified latter half. During the first three and a half years, the covenant remains in operation, sacrifices continue, and the beast’s system rises beneath an appearance of order and security.

Revelation 6 opens the seal judgments. The first rider goes forth upon a white horse, conquering and to conquer. This counterfeit conqueror should not be confused with Jesus Christ in Revelation 19. The first-seal rider begins a sequence followed by warfare, famine, death, martyrdom, and cosmic terror.

The red horse removes peace from the earth. The black horse brings famine, rationing, and scarcity. The pale horse brings Death and Hell, with widespread destruction through sword, hunger, pestilence, and the beasts of the earth. The apparent solution offered by the first rider rapidly becomes a global nightmare.

The seals demonstrate that the first half of the Tribulation is not a period of genuine peace. The covenant may promise order, but judgments begin to unfold, the beast’s influence expands, and the rebellious world moves steadily toward divine wrath.

The timeline then reaches the midpoint of Daniel’s seventieth week. Daniel 9:27 states that in the midst of the week the ruler causes sacrifice and oblation to cease. The covenant is broken, Temple activity is interrupted, and the abomination of desolation is established.

Jesus Christ refers directly to this event in Matthew 24:15, calling it “the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,” standing in the holy place. Those in Judea are commanded to flee because the most severe stage of the Tribulation is beginning.

Second Thessalonians 2 describes the man of sin opposing and exalting himself above all that is called God, sitting in the Temple of God, and presenting himself as God. The political ruler becomes the object of an openly blasphemous religious system.

Revelation 13 expands this midpoint crisis through the beast, false prophet, image, worship system, and mark. The beast receives authority from the Dragon, speaks blasphemies, persecutes saints, and receives admiration from the world.

The false prophet promotes the beast’s worship, performs signs, deceives the earth-dwellers, and directs the construction of the image. Economic participation becomes connected with the mark, name, or number of the beast, so that no man may buy or sell without submitting to the system.

The number associated with the beast is 666. This mark belongs within the future Tribulation setting and should not be carelessly applied to every new technology, financial system, identification method, medical development, or political policy appearing during the Church Age.

The midpoint leads directly into the Great Tribulation, the final three and a half years of Daniel’s seventieth week. Matthew 24:21 describes this period as great tribulation unequalled in the history of the world.

During this phase, the beast’s true character is fully revealed, Israel’s persecution intensifies, worship of the Antichrist becomes compulsory, the mark controls commerce, and God’s judgments increase through the trumpets and vials.

Revelation 8–9 introduces trumpet judgments affecting vegetation, oceans, rivers, heavenly lights, human bodies, and vast populations. The bottomless pit opens, demonic torment spreads, and destructive powers connected with the Euphrates are released.

Revelation 15–16 pours out the seven vials, in which the wrath of God is filled up. Grievous sores strike the beast’s worshippers, seas and rivers become blood, the sun scorches men, the beast’s kingdom is covered in darkness, the Euphrates is dried, and the kings of the world are gathered toward Armageddon.

The seventh vial brings the declaration, “It is done.” A tremendous earthquake follows, cities fall, mountains disappear, islands flee, and great hail descends. God’s prophetic wrath reaches its climax immediately before the visible return of Jesus Christ.

The Church is not pictured as the object of these judgments. First Thessalonians 5:9 declares that God has not appointed believers to wrath. The Body of Christ is caught away before Daniel’s seventieth week begins, while Israel, the nations, Tribulation saints, the beast, and rebellious earth-dwellers occupy the prophetic stage.

The chart next presents the Second Coming or Revelation of Jesus Christ. Revelation 19 shows heaven opened and Jesus Christ descending upon a white horse. He is called Faithful and True, the Word of God, and King of kings and Lord of lords.

The Second Coming is visible, bodily, public, judicial, and glorious. Christ does not remain in the air while believers rise to meet Him. He descends to the earth with His saints and the armies of heaven.

Zechariah 14 states that His feet will stand upon the Mount of Olives. Jude describes the Lord coming with ten thousands of His saints. Revelation 19 presents Him judging and making war in righteousness.

The beast and false prophet are captured and cast alive into the lake of fire. The gathered armies are destroyed by the word proceeding from Christ’s mouth. Human rebellion, satanic government, global military power, and false religion cannot stand before the returning King.

The Second Coming also brings Israel’s deliverance and the judgment of the nations. The surviving remnant recognizes the Messiah, the promises to the fathers move toward fulfillment, and Jesus Christ claims His lawful authority over the earth.

The timeline then advances into the millennial Kingdom. Revelation 20:1–6 states repeatedly that the reign lasts one thousand years. The Millennium is not merely a symbol for the Church Age or an indefinite description of spiritual influence.

Jesus Christ reigns upon the earth as the righteous King. Satan is bound and placed in the bottomless pit so that he cannot deceive the nations during the thousand-year period.

The present age cannot be the Millennium because Satan is presently active. Scripture describes him as the god of this world, the prince of the power of the air, the deceiver, the accuser, and a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Revelation 20 describes a condition in which that activity is decisively restrained.

The millennial Kingdom fulfills God’s promises concerning Messiah’s reign, Israel’s restoration, Jerusalem, righteous government, the judgment of the nations, and peace beneath the authority of the true King. Jesus Christ rules openly rather than through the present hidden and spiritual operation of grace.

The Kingdom does not begin because mankind finally improves itself. It begins because Jesus Christ returns, destroys the beast’s kingdom, binds Satan, judges rebellion, and assumes visible authority.

At the end of the thousand years, Satan is released for a little season. His release proves that ideal external conditions do not transform the fallen heart automatically.

Humanity will have lived beneath the righteous government of Jesus Christ, free from Satan’s active deception for a thousand years. Yet when Satan is released, multitudes follow him in one final rebellion.

The nations gather against the camp of the saints and the beloved city. Fire comes down from God and consumes the rebels. Satan is then cast into the lake of fire, where the beast and false prophet already are.

This final revolt ends every remaining challenge to God’s authority. Satan’s career began with deception and rebellion and ends in everlasting defeat.

The chart then presents the Great White Throne judgment of Revelation 20:11–15. The present heaven and earth flee from the face of the One seated upon the throne, and the unsaved dead stand before God.

The books are opened, and the dead are judged according to their works. The book of life is also opened, and anyone not found written there is cast into the lake of fire.

Death and Hell surrender the dead within them and are themselves cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

The Great White Throne must not be confused with the Judgment Seat of Christ. The Judgment Seat concerns the works and rewards of saved believers. The Great White Throne concerns the final judgment of the lost.

The believer’s name is connected with eternal life in Jesus Christ. The unsaved stand before God without Christ’s righteousness and are judged according to their own works. Human goodness cannot erase sin, satisfy divine holiness, or replace the blood of Jesus Christ.

The final event shown is the new heaven, new earth, New Jerusalem, and eternal state. Revelation 21 declares that the first heaven and first earth pass away and that God creates a new order.

New Jerusalem descends from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. God dwells with His people, and the separation caused by sin is removed forever.

God wipes away all tears. Death, sorrow, crying, and pain pass away. The former things are gone, the curse is removed, and the redeemed live beneath the direct presence and glory of God.

The city shines with the glory of God. Its gates, foundations, walls, street of gold, river of life, and tree of life testify to the beauty, purity, abundance, and permanence of the eternal order.

The redeemed see God’s face and serve Him. There is no night, no final rebellion, no death, no Temple veil, and no threat of another fall. God’s victory is complete.

The biblical timeline therefore moves from the mystery Church Age to the catching away, from the Rapture to heavenly reward and the marriage of the Lamb, from the resumption of Israel’s prophetic clock to the rise and betrayal of Antichrist, from Tribulation wrath to Christ’s visible return, from the Second Coming to the thousand-year Kingdom, and from the final rebellion to the Great White Throne and eternal creation.

The chart includes a quick comparison between the Rapture and Second Coming. At the Rapture, Christ comes for His saints; at the Second Coming, Christ comes with His saints. At the Rapture, believers meet Christ in the air; at the Second Coming, Christ returns to the earth.

The Rapture belongs to mystery truth and brings comfort. The Second Coming belongs to Kingdom prophecy and brings judgment. The Rapture occurs before wrath; the Second Coming follows the Tribulation.

The chart also identifies who is in view throughout the timeline. The Church, the Body of Christ, occupies the present mystery age and is caught away at the Rapture. Israel and Jerusalem stand at the centre of Daniel’s seventieth week and the Kingdom program. The nations and earth-dwellers are judged during the Tribulation and at Christ’s return.

The judgment structure within the Tribulation is also summarized. The seven seals open the program of wrath. The seventh seal introduces the seven trumpets. The trumpet judgments increase the severity, and the seven vials bring God’s wrath to its climactic completion.

The chart warns against confusing the Church with Israel. God possesses distinct earthly and heavenly purposes, and the existence of one does not cancel the other.

The Rapture must not be merged with the Revelation or Second Coming. The Body of Christ must not be placed beneath the prophetic wrath appointed to Israel’s seventieth week and the rebellious nations.

Prophecy must not be flattened into one general event. The judgments, resurrections, gatherings, appearances, rewards, Kingdom, and final judgment must remain in the order supplied by Scripture.

The practical applications are direct. Believers should look for Jesus Christ and the blessed hope. They should comfort one another with the promise of resurrection and reunion.

Christians should live soberly and godly because the present age is temporary. They should serve faithfully in anticipation of the Judgment Seat, preach the gospel while the day of grace remains open, and keep prophecy in its proper biblical order.

The strong summary is clear: from a rightly divided KJV perspective, the biblical order is the present Church Age, Rapture, Judgment Seat of Christ, marriage of the Lamb, Daniel’s seventieth week, first half of the Tribulation, midpoint and abomination of desolation, Great Tribulation, Second Coming of Jesus Christ, millennial Kingdom, Satan’s final rebellion, Great White Throne, and eternal state.

The Church’s hope is the catching away before the outpouring of God’s prophetic wrath upon Israel and the nations. Jesus Christ will visibly return in glory, reign upon the earth for one thousand years, bring every enemy to its appointed end, judge the unsaved dead, and establish the new heaven and new earth where God dwells with His people forever.

The biblical end-time order begins with the present Church Age, the mystery dispensation in which God is forming the Body of Christ from believing Jews and Gentiles. The Church is distinct from Israel and possesses a heavenly calling, spiritual blessings in Christ, and the blessed hope of being caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

The Rapture occurs before Daniel’s seventieth week in the pre-Tribulation framework presented by the chart. Jesus Christ descends from heaven, the dead in Christ rise first, living believers are changed, and the entire Body is caught up together to meet Him. The Rapture is distinct from the Second Coming because Christ comes for His saints before later returning with His saints.

The Judgment Seat of Christ follows the catching away and concerns the believer’s service, motive, stewardship, faithfulness, and reward. It is not a trial deciding heaven or hell. A believer may lose reward while remaining saved because eternal life rests upon Christ’s finished work rather than Christian performance.

The marriage of the Lamb presents the heavenly union and celebration of Jesus Christ with His redeemed Church. It belongs to the heavenly sequence preceding the visible Second Coming and should not be confused with Israel’s earthly restoration or the judgment of the nations.

Daniel’s seventieth week begins when the coming prince confirms a covenant with many for seven years. The prophecy concerns Israel and Jerusalem, not the Body of Christ. The Church Age occupies the mystery interval between Daniel’s sixty-ninth and seventieth weeks.

The first half of the Tribulation includes the rise of the counterfeit conqueror, the opening seal judgments, warfare, famine, death, martyrdom, and growing distress. The covenant creates deceptive security, but the world is already moving beneath God’s judgment.

At the midpoint, Antichrist breaks the covenant, stops sacrifice, establishes the abomination of desolation, and openly exalts himself. The beast system, false prophet, image, mark, and forced worship intensify during the final half of the week.

The Great Tribulation is the unequalled latter half of Daniel’s final week. The trumpet and vial judgments intensify God’s wrath, Israel’s persecution increases, the beast’s kingdom darkens, and the kings of the earth are gathered toward Armageddon.

Jesus Christ returns visibly at the Second Coming with His saints and the armies of heaven. He destroys the beast’s forces, casts the beast and false prophet into the lake of fire, delivers Israel’s remnant, judges the nations, and establishes His earthly Kingdom.

The Millennium is the literal thousand-year reign of Jesus Christ upon the earth. Satan is bound, righteous government is established, and God’s promises concerning Messiah, Israel, Jerusalem, and the nations move into visible fulfillment.

After the thousand years, Satan is released and leads one final rebellion. Fire from God destroys the rebels, and Satan is cast permanently into the lake of fire. This ends every satanic challenge to Christ’s authority.

The Great White Throne is the final judgment of the unsaved dead. It must not be confused with the Judgment Seat of Christ. The lost are judged according to their works, and anyone not found in the book of life is cast into the lake of fire.

The prophetic sequence concludes with the new heaven, new earth, New Jerusalem, and eternal state. God dwells with His people, the curse is removed, death and sorrow cease, and the redeemed serve Him forever in complete righteousness and glory.

Right division keeps the Church distinct from Israel, the Rapture distinct from the Second Coming, reward distinct from salvation, the Tribulation distinct from ordinary Christian suffering, the Millennium distinct from the Church Age, and the Great White Throne distinct from the believer’s judgment.

The doctrine should produce comfort, watchfulness, holiness, faithful service, gospel urgency, and confidence in the promises of God. The Church looks for Christ, serves in view of His judgment seat, and rests in the certainty that Jesus Christ will bring every event to its appointed conclusion.
